Privacy Policy
Our Customers and visitors privacy is of great importance to us and we promise never to release your personal details to any outside company for mailing or marketing purposes. We may contact you occasionally via email with offers and information that may be of interest to you, but you may unsubscribe from this service at any time by following the instructions within the email. All information gathered including any information given at the time of ordering is collected lawfully and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective as of 25th of May 2018. If you have a query regarding privacy, please contact us - we will be happy to provide you with an answer.
Data Collection
Any and all data we collect from our clients, such as first name, last name, address, e-mail, phone number, and any other similar information requested during the registration process, is kept in compliance with the existing data protection laws. The above personal information they have disclosed with us is used solely by Flooring Showroom. Our goal by asking them for it is to enable the opportunity to order and receive any and all products available on the website or in the store. The information in question will not be accessible by third parties, except for the delivery companies we work with – Royal Mail and Parcel Force, and we provide them with the bare minimum of information so that they can deliver your goods to the client’s address.
The personal data is kept on our database for a maximum period of 5 years, or until our clients decide to remove it, by asking our staff members to do it for them. Our clients keep the right to export this information and ask for it to be changed or removed (in case they can’t do it manually). The personal information our employees come in contact with is limited to the minimum they require to carry their work-related tasks and they are compelled by contract to never provide it to third parties. Flooring Showroom will not collect any sensitive data, such as origin, ethnicity, sexual preference and so on.
Security of Transactions
Our online payment facilities are entirely managed by SagePay - the UK leader of online merchant solutions, one of which is used to process card payments on our website. We have selected the option, where credit card data is only processed on the secure SagePay servers, which provides us with a response to the completed transaction only.
We believe this model is ideal for our business and safest for our Customers card payments.
